Our EKG course uses engaging exercises to teach students not only the “how” but also the “why” of EKG. In particular, students will learn to interpret EKG’s by key focus areas, such as; PR interval, QRS width, appearance of waves, and more. In addition, this course overviews the treatment algorithms for abnormal ECG rhythms. Medications dosages as well as joules for electrical cardioversion, defibrillation and pacing will be discussed. Moreover, students will learn to identify sinus, atrial, junctional and ventricular arrhythmias. Our Basic EKG Interpretation course also includes extensive rhythm strip identification practice to build competency. Indeed, any EKG class can be extremely overwhelming; Nonetheless, a healthcare provider’s basic skill should include EKG interpretation.

What sets NEO apart is that we genuinely care about your learning needs because we understand that everyone learns differently. Thus, our goal is teaching our learners how to visualize what occurs to the heart during an arrhythmia. Unlike many other training centers, we never teach our students to memorize a strip. Lastly, our ECG course covers all the concepts required to pass a hospitals EKG exam; therefore, with NEO’s class you will increase your chances of passing the exam.
