CHOOSE 1 OF THE FOLLOWING AHA BLS CERTIFICATION COURSES
AHA Basic Life Support or CPR is a required certification for pre-hospital and in-facility hospital providers. To summarize, AHA BLS students will learn how to effectively perform CPR for victims of all ages. In addition, learners will practice CPR as a single rescuer, and as a member of a multi-rescuer team. Other topics covered include: Choking, AED, bag-mask ventilation, as well as basic airway management. Lastly, students will learn how to confidently recognize cardiac arrest, activate EMS, and quickly respond with chest compressions.
Moreover, at NEO, we offer several ways to obtain your AHA Basic Life Support certification. Students may choose to complete an Instructor-led course at our comfortable Costa Mesa or San Diego training site; or, an online AHA BLS HeartCode at home. Once the online portion is completed, the certificate can be printed and an in-person skills check-off with an instructor can be scheduled. Both options are available weekly for flexibility. Also, this course may be completed with NRP, ACLS or PALS.
Tragically, most healthcare facilities will suspend you if your AHA Basic Life Support certification expires. In addition, you will NOT be able to return to work until you possess a current card. Fortunately, Nurses Educational Opportunities “has your back.” We have instructors available 6 days a week, for those last minute emergencies. Furthermore, for over 20 years, Nurses Educational Opportunities has remained committed to exceptional training by providing the best instructors, free study materials, snacks, drinks, and a comfortable environment.
