NEO offers American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) NRP certification and recertification classes. AAP NRP courses are the ONLY American Heart Association program for neonatal resuscitation. The AAP Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) will help the learner to resuscitate newborns. Recertifying and Certifying students can take the NRP test online, and print their completion certificate. That certificate can be presented to NEO and after watching the NRP video, and demonstrating skills, your NRP card can be issued. Certifying courses are scheduled with the instructor on a one-on-one basis, focused on the student’s scope of practice.
Steps to complete your AAP NRP
1. Take Online NRP test.
2. Schedule Skills with NEO OC or NEO SD. Bring your Test Certificate of Completion to the skills.
The American Academy of Pediatrics requires the 6th Edition AAP NRP Online test starting January 1, 2012.
A little bird told us about the online test…1. You have 2 attempts for each lesson.
2. At the end of each lesson, you will NOT know which question(s) you got wrong.
3. If you fail a lesson ONCE, you can try taking it again.
If you fail the same lesson TWICE, your entire test is VOID. You have to pay, and take the test again. (even if you failed only lesson #9)
4. If you complete Lesson 9, the entire test is locked, and you will not be able to retake lessons 1-8.
In summary: Take lessons 1-8 ONCE. Give us a call if you need assistance with any lessons, and we can schedule you for Assisted NRP with Jane $15/lesson, or all 9 lessons + skills for $200. |
